(WZZM) - Due to the cool, wet spring we've had, aphids are causing trouble on foliage this year in the landscaping.
Aphids are soft-bodied insects that Greenthumb Rick Vuyst says can suck the life out of your plant. Female aphids can produce 12 offspring per day, so the problem can multiply quickly.
Rick says you can spray your foliage for aphids, but don't over-spray. Only spray the plants that need the help, like the ones where leaves are curling up. That's a sign they're being bothered by aphids.
