(WZZM) - We've had a very pleasant Autumn thus far, but eventually reality is going to hit.  Before it does, Rick Vuyst says there are a few things you may want to do in your landscaping.

"Wilt Stop" is a good product to spray on your Evergreens.  This will help prevent your green from turning brown.  It keeps in moisture, which becomes important as the sun gets lower for the year.  Also, to prevent Southwest Disease, you may want to apply a wrap around the trunk of your small trees.  This will reflect the sun and keep the southwest part of the trunk from expanding and contracting this time of year.  Thus preventing it from cracking.

Rick also has decided to replace his flowers with hearty Pansies. They'll give you some late season color and then again in the Spring.
