NORTON SHORES, Mich. (WZZM) -- Half a year ago, late on a Friday night, Jessica Heeringa disappeared. This weekend, her family will hold a vigil a vigil to mark six months without her.
Police believe someone kidnapped Heeringa on April 26 from the Exxon Mobil gas station on Sternberg Road, where the young mother was working a late night shift as a clerk.
Saturday evening, family and friends will hold a vigil to pray for her return and renew efforts to find her. The event begins at 6:00p.m. at the strip mall across the street from the gas station.
Since her disappearance, Norton Shores Police have received many tips, but have not come up with new leads. There is a $15,000 reward for anyone who can help in the investigation.
