Making an Hors D'oeuvres Tray

Any kind of a large pretty tray, platter or plate
1 wedge of Blue Cheese
Crackers or Cocktail Bread
Fresh fruit, such as grapes or strawberries. Place these in a small bowl if at all wet or damp so as not to make the crackers/bread soggy and put on the tray.
Place the cheese on the plate, on lettuce or leaves of some sort, if available. Place the crackers all neatly in a row half way around the edge of the plate. The honey can be served in its own container or in a small bowl with a honey dipper. Let people break off a small amount of cheese with a small serving knife, place on the cracker or bread and drizzle some honey on it. Delicious.
Use your imagination for things such as this and don't get stressed out during the holidays. Nine chances out of ten, you most likely have something in your pantry and fridge that you can make into a pretty tray without going out and spending oodles on a tray. Take extra food along to refill if necessary.
