HOLLAND, Mich. (WZZM) -- Some of the Detroit Tigers were in West Michigan to learn more about ice cream.

It was part of a tour at Hudsonville Ice Cream, which makes the official ice cream for the Tigers, called "Tiger Traxx." It's the third year Hudsonville Ice Cream has partnered with the Tigers. 50 fans were chosen at random to get a chance to see their favorite players and how the ice cream process works.

"They see it in the stores and know it's available. Anytime our boys are playing, we have the ice cream on the shelf, so this is the first time they're actually going to see it being made by actual Detroit Tigers, so it's kind of fun," says Ray Sierengowski with Hudsonville Ice Cream.

Tiger Traxx is made with vanilla, fudge swirl, and chocolate covered pretzel baseballs, that are colored in orange for the Tigers colors.
