GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP/WZZM) - The Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids is among the institutions in Michigan reopening after being affected by the partial government shutdown.

ArtPrize entries that were locked in the museum during the last week of the art competition are being taken down Thursday.

The museum and the presidential library in Ann Arbor are part of the federal National Archives and Records Administration.

Both are back open Thursday, although the presidential library says a public program scheduled for Thursday evening is cancelled.
