(WZZM) - Now is the time to wrap the trunk of your young trees. It will keep them from getting southwest disease which could cause them to split after contracting and expanding due to the low, southwest sun in the winter.
It's also time to apply "Wilt Stop" to your plants that are succeptible to Winter burn, like Holly Berries, Rhododendrons or Azaleas and other braodleaf evergreens. "Wilt Stop" will hold moisture in the plants foliage, by applying a Pine Resin.
