ADA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- One of West Michigan's largest employers is shutting down its headquarters through the weekend due to flooding.
Amway will close its world headquarters in Ada from 11 p.m. Friday until first shift Tuesday morning.
The closing of the facility affects 4,000 employees.
Amway spokeswoman Beth Dornan says there is some flooding in parking areas close to the Grand River. Dornan says the closure is being done during the peak of the flooding to protect Amway's employees.
