MUSKEGON COUNTY, Mich. (WZZM) - About a dozen guests at Michigan's Adventure amusement park spent the day on a roller-coaster marathon. The group of riders raised money for the Give Kids the World Village in Florida.
The resort near Orlando gives sick children and their families fantasy vacations. The riders spent Thursday morning on Thunderhawk and the whole afternoon on Shivering Timbers.
Those participating in the roller coaster marathon say they didn't get sick, despite going upside down about 150-times.
"Ever since I was a kid I have loved coasters. I just got hooked," says Brandon Driscoll of Ontario.
The event was being held Thursday at all Cedar Fair amusement parks.
