GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM)- Tickets will go on sale Monday, March 7, 2011 at 10 a.m. for individuals interested in viewing a simulcast of Betty White's program during Gilda's Club Grand Rapids 10th Anniversary Celebration on Tuesday, March 15.
Individual tickets for the simulcast cost $12.50 and will be available at ticketmaster.com (search LaughFest) or by calling 800-745-3000; tickets are also available at the VanAndel Arena box office.
Individuals who purchase tickets to the simulcast will be entertained by on-stage guests, including Gilda's LaughFest Laughter Nanny Tim Cusack, beginning at 7:45 p.m. inside DeVos Performance Hall. White's simulcast performance will begin at approximately 8:20 p.m.
More than 1,400 tickets to Gilda's Club Grand Rapids 10th Anniversary Celebration dinner and program featuring Betty White have been sold. In early February, 200 additional tickets became available to view White's program only; those tickets sold out in less than 10 minutes.
Gilda's LaughFest will open in Grand Rapids, Mich., March 10, 2011; the 10-day event is designed to engage people throughout the region and beyond in all aspects of laughter. Created by the team at Gilda's Club Grand Rapids in celebration of its 10th anniversary and to promote its message of the importance of laughter as part of overall emotional health, LaughFest's headliners include comedians Bill Cosby, Margaret Cho, Mike Birbiglia, Kathleen Madigan and Gabriel Iglesias.
LaughFest includes more than 60 headliners and 110 free events at nearly 50 venues and restaurants in Grand Rapids. Individual event tickets range in price from $7 for family-friendly events to $77.50 for premium seating during top headliner and comedian Bill Cosby's shows.
