An SUV was discovered resting on its side against a tree.
MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) - The Muskegon man killed in a crash on I-96 in Muskegon County has been identified.
Alec Sabourin's SUV rolled over in a ditch as he was attempting to exit at Hile Road late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, but his vehicle wasn't spotted for five hours.
Police say Sanbourin, 27, was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle.
The Muskegon Chronicle is reporting officers found a liquor bottle in the wreckage. An autopsy is being performed today to determine toxicology and cause of death.
