Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - Omar Infante finished with three hits including
a two-run homer, and drove in three runs as Detroit claimed a 7-4 victory over
Atlanta in the second of a three-game interleague set at Comerica Park.
Jhonny Peralta added a two-run blast and Miguel Cabrera psted two hits and two
RBI for the Tigers, who have won the first two in the series and three of four
Rick Porcello (1-2) gave up three runs on five hits with five strikeouts and
two walks in 6 1/3 innings. Jose Valverde tossed a perfect ninth for his
Justin Upton homered and knocked in two runs for the Braves, who received two
hits and an RBI from Freddie Freeman in their third straight defeat.
Kris Medlen (1-3) was torched for 10 hits and five runs over 5 1/3 frames.
