NORTON SHORES, Mich. (WZZM) -- The owner of the Exxon Mobil gas station where Jessica Heeringa was abducted told her family he hasn't had a problem with crime at the store and didn't need a security system.
WZZM 13 reviewed every police call to the store over the last four years and found 34 incidents. Half were for traffic issues not related to the store; only four were for larceny.
However, there were six calls, labeled as suspicious situations. We have asked Norton Shores Police to look at those reports and let us know if any involve a silver or gray Chrysler Town and Country minivan.
