Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.) is back as Iron Man, and stronger than ever. In this third film of the Iron Man series, a terrorist named the Mandarin (Ben Kingsley) threatened to destroy America. Unfortunately Stark's former security guard, Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau) was injured in an explosion, which was caused by the Mandarin. Stark was very upset, though determined to face the evil terrorist; the problem was the terrorist got to Stark first. He destroyed Stark's Malibu mansion, and all his high-tech toys. Luckily Stark (Iron Man) lived, though his beloved metal suit was injured. Stark had to try and survive on his own, and save the world without his protective shell.

The character's in the film were great and entertaining. Though very violent, Stark always managed to add some humor, even in dangerous situations.
When Iron Man's suit wasn't working properely, initially Stark was upset, though he made the best of the situation and did what he needed to do to survive.
Parents need to be aware of the violent content, see details below.
Sexual Content: Mild
• Tony and his girlfriend Pepper (Gwyneth Paltrow) lived together, we saw them kiss.
• We saw flashbacks of the days when Tony was a womanizer. He was in a hotel room with a female scientist; she wanted to talk business, he wanted to get her in bed...and he did. We didn't see much after that.
• We saw women in just their bra and panties.
• We saw two woman in bed, wearing negligees. A man is in the room with them, however not in the bed.

Violent Content: Excessive
• We saw several terrorists attacks, and the deaths of innocent victims.
• The villains were creepy character's, they may scare young kids.
• The terrorist was determined to strike America; he took pride in killing American people.
• There were a lot of explosions throughout the film; characters were beaten, burned, flung from an airplane and submerged in water.
• We saw a character being choked to death.

Crude or Profane Language: Mild
• Characters said; "sh-t", "a--," "d--n" "b--ch," "p---y" and "h---."

Will Kids Like It? Yes
Overall this is an entertaining, action packed film. Depending on the kid, I recommend this film for kids ages 11 and up. However, parents need to be aware of the violent content woven throughout the film.
