PORT SHELDON TWP., Mich. (WZZM) - Two people have been arrested for breaking into vehicles Monday morning.
Just before 5:00am, a home owner was awoken by his dogs barking. He saw a vehicle leaving the area and found that items had been taken from his vehicle.
He called dispatch and deputies found the suspects vehicle nearby. Deputies searched the vehicle and found items from at least three different thefts. The items were valued at a total of over $1,000.
The suspects are a 22-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman from Grand Haven Township. They are currently being held in the Ottawa County Jail and will be arraigned Tuesday. Their identity will be released at that time.
