Search on for driver who hit pedestrian Monday

SIDNEY TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) - Montcalm Sheriffs Deputies are looking for the person who hit a pedestrian Monday and did not stop.

Deputies say the 37-year-old Sheridan woman was walking westbound on Holland Lake Road, east of Derby Road, when she was hit from behind by a vehicle also traveling west.  She suffered minor injuries and was able to walk to a nearby residence and call 911.  She was treated at the scene and taken to the hospital.

The vehicle that hit her is described as an older, burgundy-colored truck, possible a Ford Ranger.  No other descriptions were available.
