UPDATE: 22 injured in I-94 bus crash

UPDATE: (WZZM)  The Kalamazoo County Sheriff has identified the following people from the crash:

The Greyhound Bus Driver has been identified as:
Thomas L. Jackson, 64, Chicago Il.

The critically injured passenger (now listed as stable):
Cecillia Cheng, 65, Darien Il.

The truck driver:
David Diebold 54, Portage, MI

GALESBURG, Mich. (WZZM) - A fully-loaded Greyhound bus hit the back of a semi-truck on I-94 Thursday morning, injuring 21 passengers and the driver.

The bus was heading from Toronto to Chicago with 48 passengers on board when the collision happened around 10:00am near the 88 Mile Marker.

Eight passengers and the bus driver were taken to area hospitals for treatment.  Seven of those passengers were treated and released.  One front seat passenger is listed in critical condition.  The bus driver was admitted to Bronson Hospital with a non-life threatening injury.

The driver of the truck complained of neck pain and a cut finger, but refused medical treatment.

The Kalamazoo County Sheriff continues to investigate the crash.

Westbound I-94 was closed for a few hours while crews removed the passengers and cleared the scene.
