Pair missing from Camp CoBeAc found safe

UPDATE AT 11:05 P.M. (WZZM) -- Roscommon County deputies say a man and a woman who were missing from a Christian camp have been found safely.

Michael Trute of Grand Rapids, 20, and Ashley Carpenter of Davidson of Davidson, 19, were found around 10 p.m. Sunday, according to investigators.  Deputies were unable to release more details until sometime Monday morning.

ROSCOMMON COUNTY, Mich. (WZZM)- The Roscommon County Sheriff's Office says a man and woman have been missing from Camp CoBeAc since Thursday night.

Deputies are looking for Michael Trute of Grand Rapids, 20, and Ashley Carpenter of Davidson of Davidson, 19, since they did not return to Camp CoBeAc located in Prudentist.

The last time they were seen was at 10 p.m. Thursday night. They do not have any means of transportation and have limited money.

Ashley Victoria Carpenter is described as being 5'2" tall and weighing in at 140 pounds. She was last seen wearing a black skirt, purple jacket, pink socks and black flats.

Michael Trute is about 6'1" tall and weighs 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans. It's unknown if he was wearing shoes.
