LUDINGTON, Mich. (WZZM) -- Ludington has postponed its trick-or-treating until Friday because of heavy rain predicted Thursday.
Trick-or-treating is set for 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, according to the Ludington Daily News.

"We thought it might create a problem for kids trick-or-treating," said Ludington Police Chief Mark Barnett. "The Friday forecast does have rain, but not as much, and the winds don't seem to be as much of an issue, so it would be safer on Friday."
He said safety tips to keep in mind are: wear reflective clothing, carry a flashlight, have parents accompany kids, make sure all candy is checked before consumption.
