BERLIN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- It appears the man who crashed into a piece of farm equipment in Ionia county Tuesday night will survive.
Police say the man hit a 72-foot-long grain auger as he was pulling out of his driveway on Grand River Avenue. Firefighters had to cut the 64-year old Saranac man out of his car.
He was flown by helicopter to Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids. His injuries are said to be non life-threatening.
The driver towing the auger was not hurt.
