DETROIT (AP) -- Utilities in Michigan say all but about 54,000 of the about 678,000 state homes and businesses that lost power in a damaging Midwestern storm now have service back.
The storms hit the state Sunday, spawning several tornadoes and killing two people.
CMS Energy Corp. says about 14,400 of its customers were without power out of about 334,000 affected.

DTE Energy Co. says about 35,000 southeastern Michigan customers remained without power Wednesday afternoon out of about 302,000 affected.
Indiana Michigan Power said Wednesday that about 5,000 of its Michigan customers remained without service out of about 42,000 affected.
The American Red Cross of West Michigan is closing three of seven shelters Wednesday.
