YMCA offers $10 parking for 4th of July
GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- Wednesday is National Walking Day and the YMCA wanted to promote heart health to the public.
The gym offered free walking to the public and even gave out a walking schedule. The American Heart Association recommends about 150 minutes of walking a week-- 30 minutes a day.
Walking increases life expectancy, reduces cholesterol, and blood pressure.
