(WZZM) Grand Rapids, Mich. - The Affordable Care Act goes by many names such as The ACA, Obamacare, or simply health care reform.
The fact is, no matter what you call it, it can be hard to keep up with all the changes due to the sheer volume of new legislature coming out seemingly every week.
Open enrollment for the new Health Insurance Marketplace begins October 1, 2013 and the clock is ticking.
Just this past week alone hundreds of pages of new regulations were sent out to health care providers.
Included was a new regulation that actually lessens a previous requirement of the government to closely look at tax information determining the amount of assistance a consumer is entitled.
In the video link above Director of Health Care Reform at Priority Health, Marti Lolli, goes over new developments to help keep it all straight.
Lolli suggests a couple different websites, like Understandinghealthreform.com and Priorityhealth.com, to keep informed about new reform and upcoming seminars Priority offers.
