(WZZM) - The makers of Tamiflu say they're dealing with a shortage of the liquid form of the flu treatment.

That version of the medicine is usually given to children between infancy and 13 years old.

A spokesperson for the company says high demand earlier in the flu season caused the current shortage.

This does not affect supplies of the pill version of Tamiflu and the shortage should not last long.
