WALKER, Mich. (WZZM) - This week on Sarah and Alana's 'Beach Bound Challenge' Ross Sherman is having the girls hit the biking trails. You don't need an expensive gym membership to get in your cardiovascular exercise. After the last work out of circuit training, Ross Sherman wanted to give the girls a basic 60 minute work out on the trail. But this doesn't just mean a leisure ride. Here is the work out below.

Work Out: 60 Minute Bike Ride (10x60 second sprints), and end your ride with a full core work out. 

You can enhance your work out by sprinting for one block, then riding at average speed for the next. Changing your speed will challenge your heart rate and burn more calories. Sherman says by the end of the work out you should be sweating. If your sweat tastes salty, then eat a banana or something with light salt on it. Sherman says people who have salty sweat tend to get more cramps and pain. Make sure to drink lots of water.
