GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM) - One artist competing for a top award in ArtPrize was shocked to discover his exhibit was vandalized Saturday morning.
The exhibit by J.D. Urban is a documentary called 'An Everyday People Project." Urban found the tables turned over, papers thrown, and his video equipment damaged.
Urban's video shows conversations with random people showing their thoughts on race, the media, and politics. Urban's exhibit is up for the 'Best Use of Urban Space' award.
Anyone with information about the damage is asked to call Grand Rapids Police or Silent Observer.
