(WZZM) - Now that October has arrived, so have a lot of the Fall colors. Rick shows us some of his favorites, in this week's Greenthumb.

Fall is not only for color, but for planting also, according to Rick.

Fall blooming Anemones are beautiful right now too. Autumn Crocus is a plant that's flowering right now, usually from September to November in the Northern Hemisphere. Its leaves won't appear until next Spring.

Viburnums are also great in the early Fall. Rick recommends Viburnum Opulus Nana and the birds love it too. It's natural feed for them in October and November, especially with their berries.
