(WZZM)--Does your yard and soil need help?
If so, Rick says now is the perfect time to repair it before the snow starts flying.
Rick says this time of year we get a lot of organic matter in our yard. Carbon and nitrogen will do wonders for your yard and garden next year. Decomposing leaves are great for your soil. As they decompose, bacteria and earthworm levels increase, thus more nutrients for plant use.
As you pack away your lawn equipment for the Winter, Rick recommends you place Mouse Magic around the shed. They're like little tea bags and will keep the mice from getting into places they shouldn't.
Rick is about to go on hiatus from his weekly segment for the winter, but if you just can't get enough of our fun guy ("fungi"), check out Rick's website at thankyouverymulch.
