(WZZM) Grand Rapids, Mich. - It is now required under Michigan law that insurance companies fund therapy programs for autistic children up to the age of 18.

With more than 20 years experience in schools helping kids with special needs using ABA therapy methods, Marjorie Hayword decided she could help even more.

Hayword is the founder of the center called Behavior Analysts of West Michigan's Center for Autism.

In the video link above Hayword describes ABA therapy methods more in depth. Hayword says we're seeing autism diagnosed more and more, but the million dollar question is why.

Hayword works with children anywhere from three to 12 years old and for more information about programs Marjorie or the center offer visit BAWMI.com or call Marjorie at phone number 616)915-2066.
