GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - Robotic cars, golf swing analyzers and an automated bullet sorter were just some of the projects on display at GVSU's Engineering Showcase Thursday.

Students from the College of Engineering and Computing demonstrated their semester projects.  Organizers said there is a decent chance the gadgets will one day be a part of our everyday lives.

Paul Plotkowski with GVSU said, "It's hard to predict, but I can tell you that every year we have at least a couple patent applications come out of projects here at Grand Valley."

There were dozens of projects on display.  One in particular caught our eye - the Sip and Puff Lawnmower.  Users control the device by sipping and puffing air through a remote control.
