MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) - The black bear was just out for a swim after all.
DNR officials tell WZZM 13's Jon Mills that the black bear that swam across Muskegon Lake Monday morning, rested up, and swam back to North Muskegon around 9:30pm Monday night.
There is no evidence that the bear caused any damages or issues during its day-long outing to Muskegon. DNR officials hope that the bear just followed its path back to wherever it came from and there are no further incidents.
