SAUGATUCK, Mich. (WZZM) - Amie Shanahan is a busy mother of three, who, if given the choice, would live in her pajama pants. So the idea of Pajama Jeans was intriguing.

They're jeans made from a cotton, spandex, denim blend that stretch and have a hidden drawstring. They look just like regular jeans with stitching and pockets, but there are no zippers or buttons. They're like leggings, or "jeggings" (jean leggings), but they have a boot-cut so they look more like real jeans.

Amie and I both tried them on. We loved the comfort of them and agreed they felt like yoga pants. I loved that there isn't a bulky zipper because if you're wearing a tighter, longer shirt, it looks smooth.

We didn't like the pockets. They definitely weren't flattering on my rear-end. We found that they were a tad too short for us to wear with high heels. They looked better with flats.

Pajama Jeans come in extra-small (size 4) up to a 3X, but don't come in long or petite. They sell for $39.95 plus $7.95 for processing and handling. Amie thought that was pricey.

It's really an opinion thing, but Pajama Jeans are cozy and with the right accessories, they can pass the style test.

Watch Lauren and Amie try out the Pajama Jeans in the attached video report.
