NORTON SHORES, Mich. (WZZM) -- 22 families at Crestview Estates were without running water for several hours Thursday after the city shut off service.
The park's owners were supposed to make a $5,000 payment prior to January 10, but that still hasn't happened, so around 11 a.m., water was turned off.
Residents WZZM 13 spoke with said they were having no luck contacting the company that owns the park.
"It is hard. I have called twice this morning; one time I was told to call back and talk with Pam, I called back and Pam is not there. And they say they will call me back," said Margaret Ellison.
Norton Shores city leaders decided late Tuesday afternoon to restore water service for now. But they were told the park owner does not intend to pay the $5,000 water bill.
The city will soon be providing a permanent shut off notice so residents can begin making plans to move out of the park. Water was also shut off to the park back in early December.
