GRAND RAPIDS - People receiving social security disablity income are eligible for some work-at-home jobs. They would be using the telephone and computer, working for a call center, at home. The pay is $8.50 an hour and paid training is available.
Derek Lewis of Flint is part of myemploymentoptions.com. He told WZZM 13 they ran out of funds to advertise and market these jobs.
He says it's part of the administrations "Ticket to Work" program. He says employment would not impact employee's ability to continue receiving the SSDI checks.
