HUDSONVILLE, Mich. (WZZM) - Hudsonville City Council members voted this morning at a special 6:45am meeting to accept over $100,000 of federal stimulus money to fix a major street.

The city council had earlier decided to not accept the federal money because the project to repair 36th Street cost would have been higher with the federal money attached.  The city council voted 3-3 in June with the mayor being absent and the money was rejected.  This morning, the mayor was present and the vote passed to accept the funding.
