Hadley - at the Humane Society of Kent County
WALKER (WZZM) -- On Saturday, the Kent County Humane Society celebrates the on year anniversary of the rescue of Hadley the Cat.
In July of last year, its owners discovered Hadley had been set on fire. The cat had burns on one third of its body and a severe infection. Once Hadley's story was made public, donors raised $20,000 to help save the cat.
Nearly a year later, Hadley is fully recovered and is now the official mascot of the Kent County Humane Society.
Hadley even has a facebook page. The cat is up to 745 fans and is even listed as being "in a relationship."
