(WZZM)- Winter weather has left many West Michigan roadways wet, icy, snow covered, and slushy.
Michigan State Police have issued a winter travel advisory as a result of the conditions. Most freeway overpasses are reportedly icy, and there's drifting snow to contend with as well.
If you must travel, you're advised to reduce speeds, leave plenty of room between you and other vehicles, and allow for extra travel time.
As of 6:45 Tuesday morning, the winter weather hadn't caused any flight delays from the Gerald R. Ford International Airport. Click here for more up-to-date travel information.
