CEDAR SPRINGS, Mich. (WZZM) - The Cedar Springs Police Department announced arrests in a armed robbery from August Tuesday.

On August 27th, a person knocked on the door of an apartment on S. 7th Street asking to use the phone.  After getting inside, the person grabbed the resident, put a sharp item to his back, and demanded cash.  He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and three cell phones.

With the assistance of the Kent County Sheriff's Office, investigators were able to identify four suspects who decided to rob the victim because he had just sold a vehicle.

Jail on other charges and more charges are being added in Kent County.  Cole Mitchell Kasinger, 18, of Cedar Springs has been arrested, arraigned, and released on bond.  A 16-year-old girl from Sparta was interviewed by police and released to custody of her mother.  Charges are being sought through juvenile court.

A fourth suspect, a 30-year-old man from Cedar Springs, is still being sought.
