KENTWOOD, Mich. (WZZM) - Kentwood Police have released a composite sketch of one of the suspects in a double homicide over the weekend.

The sketch is of a man suspected in the burning of the victim's vehicle, a 2001 Cadillac Deville.  That suspect is considered a person of interest in the murder of David and Vivian Bouwman on Saturday, January 5.

The suspect police are looking for is a light skinned black male in his 30's. Investigators say he is six feet tall and has a beard with some gray in it. He was last seen wearing a tan hat and red scarf.

Investigators say that they believe there were at least two people in the Bouwman's car after the murders and before it was set on fire.  They say they believe there may have been individuals involved in the burning of the car that were not involved in the murder and those people should come forward.

If you have information, you are asked to contact Kentwood Police at 698-6580 or Silent Observer at 774-2345.
