"La Revue Des Revues" (1927) Directed by Joe Francis, with Josephine Baker. This films has two major subjects. The first is that it gives us a sample of the kinds of musical extravaganzas that were produced for the nightclubs of Paris of the Roaring Twenties. The second is we get to see Josephine Baker, a black American, who was the highest paid performer in France in those days.

"Touch of Evil" (1958) Directed by Orson Welles with Orson Welles and Janet Leigh. Corruption and murder along the Mexican - United States border is the subject of this wonderful thriller that also stars Charlton Heston, Marlene Dietrich and Dennis Weaver. This film may be even better than "Citizen Kane."

"The Way Things Go"(1987) Directed by Peter Fischli and David Weiss. This is a Swiss film that is like nothing you've ever seen before. The closest thing to it are the films that show dominos falling over but this film is way beyond that.
