GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - Looking for something fun to do in the middle of winter? Arenacross is about to make its annual weekend stop in West Michigan.
The Amsoil Arenacross tour's third stop of the season is in Grand Rapids this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, January 18-20. The dirtbike racing consists of 250cc riders from all across the country competing on the dirt track, including one from Ludington, Kelly Smith.
He's not the only familiar face you'll see. Miss Arenacross Lindsey Scheltema is from Grand Rapids. Also in attendance this weekend will be two-time defending champion and current points leader Tyler Bowers.

Friday's and Saturday's events start at 7pm and Sunday's Amateur Day of racing starts at noon. Tickets for Friday and Saturday start at $15 and go up to $35, kids tickets start at $10. Sunday's prices are $15 for general admission for everyone. Tickets are $2 more the day of the event. They can be bought at the Van Andel Arena Box Office, Ticketmaster or by calling 1-800-745-3000.
