HOLLAND, Mich. (WZZM) -- A Holland woman missing since Valentine's Day has been found safe in New Mexico. An officer located Emelene Van Dyke Sunday in Roswell. She told an officer she was aware of the ongoing search for her and she left Michigan on her will.

Holland police have removed Emelene Van Dyke from missing person database after speaking to her on Saturday night.
A Roswell, New Mexico police officer on patrol noticed the vehicle Emelene VanDyke was driving in a hotel parking lot. Upon investigating the vehicle and confirming the information with Holland Police the officer made contact with Emelene when she voluntarily came forward when she noticed police were investigating her vehicle in the lot.
A Holland officer was able to speak to Emelene on the phone and confirmed that she was there on her own volition and was not in any danger. Emelene stated she WAS aware that she was considered missing but for personal reasons decided to remain silent. Police who spoke with her encouraged her to contact family and friends.
Emelene's family members were notified of the contact with her and that she was being removed from the national database and computer systems of missing persons.
