Second surveillance video in Heeringa case: Norton Shores police released a second surveillance video this afternoon. The video shows a silver or gray minivan police have been searching for in connection to the disappearance of Jessica Heeringa and was taken on Grand Haven Road.

NORTON SHORES, Mich. (WZZM) - Experts trying to enhance surveillance video of a van that may be in connection with a missing woman have failed in getting a better image.

Norton Shores Police Chief Dan Shaw made the announcement Friday that efforts to enhance the video from the Coin Zone have proved to be ineffective. The image of the van in the video has been sent to other vehicle experts to see if they can get a better identification on the make and model of the van.

Jessica Heeringa disappeared from her job as a night clerk at the Exxon Mobil gas station on Sternberg Road in Norton Shores on Friday, April 26 at about 11 p.m. Police are treating her disappearance as an abduction.

Witnesses described a silver or gray van, possibly a Chrysler Towne & Country, having been at the station at the time of her disappearance. Surveillance videos show a van heading north on Grand Haven Road at the approximate time of the disappearance.
