Police find missing Grand Rapids woman

UPDATE AT 2:42 A.M. (WZZM) -- Police say the missing woman has been found safe.

Nickola Sheldon was located around 2:35 a.m. Friday on South Division Avenue, about two blocks from her home.

Police believe Sheldon may have been hiding from officers when they had been searching for her earlier in the morning.

GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- Police are searching for a missing woman who is considered endangered.

Nickola Sheldon, 33, was last seen in the area of Buchanan Avenue and Kirtland Street SW around 11 p.m. Thursday.  Sheldon is developmentally disabled and may have a hard time taking care of herself.

Sheldon is 5'4" and 220 lbs.  She was last seen wearing glasses, a blue shirt with flowers on its front, light blue jean shorts and dark blue clogs.
