LANSING, Mich. (Lansing State Journal)-- A man was shot in the lower leg Sunday morning during an altercation at a nightclub on Lansing's south side.

Lansing police said the victim, who is in his mid- to late 30s, was part of a group that traveled to the Fahrenheit Ultra Club, 6810 S. Cedar St., on a party bus from Grand Rapids.

The shooting occurred outside the club about 2 a.m., Lansing Sgt. Ellery Sosebee said. Police received "very little cooperation" from witnesses at the scene, the sergeant said.

The victim's injury did not appear to be life-threatening, he said.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Lansing police at 483-4600.
