GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WZZM) -- The Williams Syndrome Association is teaching the world that the disabled are still capable of great things. Their annual camp headed to Grand Haven Tuesday for a beach clean up and surf lesson.
Despite mental delays, scientist say Williams Syndrome adults are so loving, they're incapable of prejudice. In fact, WZZM 13 found the group picking up trash at the beach while waiting their turn to surf.
Once it was their turn to surf, the group proved they are capable of anything; many hit a wave on their first try.
While these friends only meet once a year, they teach the world a true lesson in caring for others without boundaries.
