GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- Grand Rapids has been named the city that has most improved when it comes to driving safely.
Insurance company Allstate released their "Allstate America's Best Drivers Report®." The report ranks the 200 largest cities in the U.S. in terms of frequency of car collisions.
Grand Rapids jumped up 25 spots on the list, which was the most of any city, earning it the honor of "Most Improved."
Washington D.C. ranked last for the sixth year in a row. They were joined on the bottom by Miami, Philadelphia, and Baltimore.
The top five cities for safest drivers are:
1. Fort Collins, Colorado
2. Boise, Idaho
3. Sioux Falls, South Dakota
4. Brownsville, Texas
5. Madison, Wisconsin
