HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- An out-of-state driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was seriously hurt when she ran a stop sign and was struck by a passing vehicle.
The accident happened around 12:10 p.m. Thursday at 120th Avenue and New Holland Street.
Ottawa County investigators say Judie Grant, 50, of Phoenix City, Alabama was driving a Chevrolet conversion van when she failed to stop at a stop sign.
Grant's vehicle rolled onto its side after it was struck by a Dodge Ram truck.
Grant was pinned in the van for one hour and was flown by AeroMed to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids with serious injuries.
The other driver, James Driesinga, 16, Holland and his passenger, Alex Lozano, 16, of West Olive had minor injuries.
