OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- Authorities believe the same man is involved in two bank robberies this week.

Surveillance cameras caught a black man with a light complexion and facial hair robbing the Chemical Bank on West Main Street in Oshtemo Wednesday afternoon.

Two days earlier, cameras caught a man with the same features and clothing attempting to rob the Chase Bank on Leonard Street NW in Grand Rapids. In that robbery, the man handed the teller a note demanding money, but she refused and the man ran off without any cash.
