GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- Grand Rapids Police have a man in custody after a standoff on Francis Street early this morning.
Police say they responded to a domestic dispute call just after 5:00 am Saturday morning, in the 2300 block of Francis Street in South East Grand Rapids.
The caller said her boyfriend was drunk and threatened her with a handgun.
She eventually was able to leave the house, but the man refused to leave.
Police closed Alger Street between Division and Lafayette, and Francis Street north of Alger during the standoff.
